What's better than having a model railway at home? Having a real one, of course! But how do you fit it in the house?
You will have to forget about the trains themselves, but it is quite possible to assemble a signal box simulation using real ex-signal box equipment. Some of this is quite house friendly, having much varnished mahogany and polished brass. Even better, it is also possible to connect this to an electronic simulator which will 'bring it to life' - so you can signal your very own (virtual) trains.
